I’ve worked in the book industry since 2016 when I began managing the publishing department at Politics and Prose in Washington, DC. It was during my time there that I learned about the process of book design and production. This eventually led me to pursue a master’s degree in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College. This gave me the opportunity to study the anatomy of the book more intentionally as well as the industry surrounding it. Over the last few years I’ve worked in trade and academic publishing in multiple roles including editorial, marketing, and art direction.

Aside from reading and designing books, I spend a lot of time thinking about inter-semiotic translation, sounds, Usonian architecture, and how people interact with space.
